How Was My Summer?
August 18, 2010
Yeah... felt I needed to update. I'm should update more frequently, so I'll work on that.
What's there to talk about...
Well when school starts most people are gonna ask you
"How was your summer?" We all usually say
"Fine.", and we may mention something fun we did for the conversation's sake.
Honestly to tell the truth, my summer was wack. I had a lot of fun this summer, but it's been one financially dry summer. I had a lot of fun as an Orientation Leader. I'm so glad I got to be Orientation Leader again; the application process is kinda tough. As an Orientation Leader were representatives of
Regis College. Were the role model students of the college. We a big part of the incoming students' orientation experience.
The reason I had so much fun as an Orientation Leader is because of the trainings and the perks. The trainings were so awesome we all just kinda bonded; learning things about each other. We played ice breakers. We made speeches about ourselves and presented them. We talked about our opinions on deep issues. We also did a skit. People complained about training, but I feel everyone liked them. The only hard part of training was practicing that skit, but everything else was just pure fun. Because I was an Orientation Leader I got to live on campus during the summer and it payed a hundred bucks.
I would have done this for free.
They fed us every training. We had two outings. One was to Six Flags, and we went bowling on the next outing.
Wow!Living on Campus is fun too. For one, when I don't wanna be home I come here. It's like my own place. My Orientation Leader friends are here, and we just have the best of times. Just those memorable moments you know. We play video games, play basketball with the boys, go out to eat, and recently a lot of us gang up to watch
Jersey Shore. I had a lot of good moments with my good friend named Steven. Me and him stayed up until
6, 7, 8 in the morning playing video games on a few occasions. We ate Chinese Food late at night. Real Late. I remember being out in the front of
Asia Wok or
Tiki House waiting for our food. We doing stupid stuff like: laying down in the middle of the street because it was that late, and no cars were out. We did a lot of shit together lol.
No Homo.
Okay my summer has been a lot of fun. I lied. I just felt it was wack because I was so broke. Frequently asking mom for money... smh. I got some more to talk about, but I didn't realize writing about the Orientation Leader experience is certainly a post which will suffice. Now I got some ammo and I can update sooner. Later.
